Fitzwater’s history is based on high quality service in the outdoor maintenance industry since 1946.

Our company originated as serving Darke County and the surrounding area with the only tree service business around. Today we serve thousands of customers across the Miami Valley and are a 100% employee-owned company.

Headquartered in Greenville, Ohio, we operate with a staff of over 140 employees and growing with full-time ISA Certified Arborists and ODA Licensed Pesticide Applicators on staff.

We offer year-round, full service for property maintenance, landscaping, tree care, utility line clearing, as well as 24/7 snow removal and salting. We’re also proud to be Darke County and Preble County’s largest mulch producer.

From day one, Fitzwaters has been locally owned and operated. Our story began over 75 years ago, just before the inventory of telephone area codes and color photographs became mainstream. The way we operate and conduct ourselves is a mantra passed down generations – customers come first for every service we provide, period.
